Emidio Mazzilli (Stagename: Midio) is a Session Bass Player and a Music Teacher.

- As a Bass Player: He worked, co-operated and played live through all Europe, being associated with names like: The Rumjacks, Talco, Dubioza Kolektiv, Ligabue, Diodato, Roy Paci, Tullio De Piscopo, Beppe Vessicchio (Sanremo’s most important director), Arisa, Il Muro del Canto and many more.
He performed at RAI Television several times with his own projects or featuring as a guest.

Currently playing with: Maleducazione Alcolica, Merely Minds, Sonny Casey, Dànae, Scott & Lila, Eden Cami, Vincent Sala, Scott Hildebrandt and more.

- As a Music Teacher: He started to teach privately in Italy, becoming soon an official Teacher for national and international Music Schools.
Right after his graduation he moved to Berlin to teach in a Music University (SRH School of Popular Arts, where he still teaches to this day).
In his teaching career he taught: Electric Bass, Ensemble Playing, Ear Training, Harmony, Rhythm Analysis, Software Notation, Stage Performance, Songwriting and so on, between individual lessons, class lessons and Workshops (check the “Lessons” page for more details).

- Studies: he gained a Master Degree in Electric Bass (Pop and Jazz) at Saint Louis College of Music, graduating with full marks and being classified as one of the Best Students of the year by EU.
He studied Bass with Gianfranco Gullotto, Andrea Rosatelli and Marco Siniscalco, while developing a 360° music knowledge studying Ear Training, Classical and Jazz Harmony, Piano, Music Production, Music History and so on, following lessons by European Masters like Pierpaolo Principato, Andrea Avena, Vincenzo Presta, Antonio Solimene etc.
He attended several Workshops, held by: Alphonso Johnson, Marcus Miller, John Patitucci, Robben Ford, Peter Erskine, Roberto Gatto, Dario Deidda and many others.
